Mission Statement
To provide assistance and support to homeless men who are dealing with, recovering from, or are in rehabilitation for substance abuse through the provision of housing, life skill and vocational skill development, job training, and rehabilitative income producing activities.
In performing its mission, the foundation may:
- Cooperate and partner with other agencies, associations, organizations, or businesses with similar missions that can provide supporting activities or services
- Provide work placement and self-esteem building work participation environments
- Provide job counseling
- Sustain services for persons who are significantly impaired or challenged in life and work skills and abilities
ASP Mission Trip Video
In July 2019, youth from four churches gathered in Wise County, Virginia to do home repair and spread the good news of God’s Love as part of Appalachian Service Project. One of the adult chaperones from Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, Illinois volunteered his professional photogr aphy skills and created a 20 minute video of the week’s highlights. Bob Fox will provide the video in MP4 format on USB drives for anyone who desires it.
