History

Bob Fox has been working with the homeless community in Springfield, Illinois  for over 10 years. Brighter Enterprises was incorporated as an Illinois NOT-FOR-PROFIT Corporation in July 2018.

In Oct 2017, the Springfield Illinois Rotary Club requested that Bob Fox build birdhouses for Rotary Park.  Bob is a long-time master wood-worker and wanted to share his experience as a way to encourage the men at Brighter Tomorrow Sober Living House to learn a skill.  That triggered the formation of Brighter Enterprises. Rotary International will benefit from a portion of the sales of items that are made and sold by Brighter Enterprises.
